THE BUUR BREWERY {2023}
I wanted to see what my illustrations would look like on a can of beer. Knowing there are so many beautiful artworks on beers within this industry. And dare I say, I would love to see something like this become reality.
This illustration has the straight forward theme “the beer brewery”. In which we wander around from the brewing process in the brewery to the consumer at the bar in the pub.

This illustration was made with ink on blue paper. The greytones and the hints of orange were added digitally.
You will probably recognize some of these illustrated arcade games; mario bros, air hockey and space invaders.

001cA personalized illustration themed around the experience of camping. Activities such as cycling, making word puzzles and going for a picnic are visible in the frames.
This illustration was printed on a lunchbox and lunchcup.
DWEILEN MET DE KRAAN OPEN {2023}
A quick digital illustration. Inspired by the cancellation of the last day of several festivals in the same weekend, due to bad weather.
The Noukifest poster was designed and illustrated for a camping party. Humor was an important part of the style for this illustration. Hence the toilet roll and the “i” in the title of the poster.
SHE READ A COMIC BOOK. {2023}
This illustration started out as a freehand fineliner illustration on paper. It was merely inspired by the recognizable framing of comic books and it’s popular used color palette (purple and turquoise). The black shading and the overall coloring were added digitally.
BUUF BUUR STICKER {2023}
This is my first personal sticker design. I wanted to give the sticker a cartoonish look and have vibrant colors. Since it’s small, it needs to be caught by the eye in public.
THE BIPOLAR EXPRESS {2023}
An illustration themed around the holiday season; Christmas, New Year’s Eve and Chinese New Year. My inspiration came from the Christmas movie “The Polar Express” with which I first started with the train elements. After that the next recognizable elements came to mind: the Chinese dragon, the pine tree, the igloo, the snow, the fireplace, etc.
